Facebook wording 🍁 AUTUMN – ONE OF THE BEST TIMES TO PLANT A TREE! 🌳 If you’ve been thinking about adding a tree to your garden, now is a great time to get planting. The soil is still warm, there’s usually more natural rainfall and trees can start establishing their roots before bursting back into growth next spring. In today’s video we’re looking at three very different choices: 🍁 Acer ‘Redpointe’ – fantastic red and orange autumn colour and a beautiful feature tree as it matures. 🤍 Betula ‘Snow Queen’ – famous for its stunning white bark, giving you interest right through the winter months. 🌸 Prunus ‘Kiku-shidare-zakura’ – a gorgeous weeping flowering cherry covered in double pink blossom in spring. A few planting tips: dig the hole wider rather than deeper, don’t plant the tree too deeply, stake where necessary and water it thoroughly after planting.
