You may have noticed a few staff members missing on Friday, that’s because over the weekend our lovely little Charlotte got married!! 👰🏻‍♀️❤️ She’s been our longest running staff member, we’ve watched her grow up, have a baby, now watched her marry her high school sweetheart. We wish you all the best Char ❤️ Obviously her beautiful flowers were made by our onsite florist Kerry 💐

🌱🪰 Venus Fly Traps are BACK IN STOCK! 🪰🌱 Our amazing Venus Fly Traps have landed back in store—and they never stick around for long 👀 Not only are they fascinating to watch, they’re surprisingly easy to care for with the right conditions. How to look after your Venus Fly Trap: 💧 Water: Keep the soil damp at all times. Best with rainwater, distilled water or deionised water (tap water can damage them over time). ☀️ Light: Loves bright light—a sunny windowsill or greenhouse spot is perfect. The more sun, the stronger the red colour inside the traps. 🪴 Soil: Keep them in their pot with carnivorous plant compost—don’t repot into normal compost. 🦟 Food: No need to feed unless kept indoors with no insects around. They’ll catch their own flies and bugs! ✋ Don’t trigger the traps for fun—each trap only closes a limited number of times before it dies back naturally. Fun facts: 🪰 A Venus Fly Trap can snap shut in less than a second 🌎 They naturally grow in the wild in North & South Carolina, USA 🦷 Those “teeth” around the edge help trap insects inside 🌸 They flower too—and the flowers grow high above the traps so pollinators stay safe!
