“Now this is something I never thought I’d be showing you… Take a look at this pomegranate tree. Not only has it grown really well here, it’s actually producing fruit! When we first brought these in, we knew they’d survive in the UK. They’re much hardier than people think, and with their stunning flowers and glossy foliage, they’re a beautiful ornamental tree in their own right. But if I’m honest, I never expected to see actual pomegranates growing on them here in Yorkshire! It just goes to show what’s possible. Give them a warm, sunny, sheltered spot and they can really surprise you. Whether you’re looking for something a bit different for your garden, a feature for a patio, or you’re tempted to grow your own fruit, these are definitely worth considering. Come and see them for yourself at Fields Garden Centre. I think once you see the fruit hanging on the tree, you’ll be just as amazed as we were!”
